3 Days in New York

We got the New York Pass and tried to cover as much of this concrete jungle as possible in 3 days.  Here are a few photos of what we saw, conquered, and ate that full and fun weekend.

SOHO, Little Italy, and Chinatown Tour
If you had time for only one tour, choose this one. SOHO is very charming and the neighborhood of choice for a lot of celebrities. Plus there are so many good places to eat in the area.

Hop On Hop Off Night Tour of New York
Some photos I managed to take from the double-decker bus while it toured us around Manhattan and Brooklyn.  This was an awesome ride and we learned so much from the guide in 2 hours.

WHERE TO EAT
New York has so many great choices, even the street meat we tried was pretty good. If you are ever in the city, be sure to sample these places –

1. Boka
The best Korean fried chicken I’ve ever had. Get the spicy version. And if you’ve never tried soju (Korean liquor), their mango-flavored one would be a good first time.

2. Butter Lane
Try their strawberry on vanilla cupcake.

3. Big Gay ice cream
There was a long line outside until closing time. This is near Butter Lane so you can eat your cupcake while waiting in line for your ice cream.

4. Magnolia Bake Shop
I really loved their vanilla with vanilla buttercream. I heard their banana pudding is to die for. Would definitely go back!

5. Porchetta
The roast pork plate was just finger-lickin’ amazing.

6. Cafe Habana
Try their Mexican corn, it’s really good.

7. Prince Street Pizza
Order it extra crispy.

8. Kat’s Deli
It’s practically an institution in the city, and highly recommended by everyone. Upon trying their pastrami and corned beef, I could definitely taste why.
